Willie and Engagement Pictures

Steve and I went to see Willie Nelson at the Tabernacle Thursday night at the Tabernacle. It was actually the first “real” concert we had ever attended together. We arrived before the doors opens, thus we were able to get in the second standing row. Willie took stage around 8:10 and played for an hour and half. He played many of his classics, but must have been in a Hank Williams mood, because he also played many of his songs. It got really crowded and hot, especially as the inebriated people began to move closer to the front. I finally got the bottle of Dasani I was dieing for, for $3.00, and I thought water was a natural resource. Well would have paid $20 at the time. I was glad to get to bed at midnight, which I thought was reasonably early for the occasion.

Today we had our engagement pictures take. We were hoping to have them made on the river, but the rain forced us into the studio. I think there should be some really good and unique shots. I should get the cd of pictures later this week. They will also be placed on Pictage. I will list the username and password so all can view.

Oh today is also the one year anniversary of our engagement. It seems hard to believe that has been that long and we only have 3 months before the wedding!
