Fishy really tired after playing ball with her brother and sister.

By Friday, Fishy was really, really tired. I have been home most all week resting, doing homework and attempting to clean. She makes almost every step that I make. I think she is saying... "Mommy, can you go back to work, or at least leave so I can get some rest. You are really disturbing my mid-day sleep."

Easter lily!

Cilantro - we are trying to grow it inside to have for our salsa.

Look! Yes! I FINALLY put away all of our Christmas stuff. The bedroom is clean and everything is neatly stored away!

Monday of spring break...
Today Steve did some work and I worked on college stuff. I got a lot accomplished, but finished nothing (the current story of my life). Since cold weather and snow flurries were coming in we thought it was a good idea to make soups for the next few days. Steve made gumbo and bisque!

Stone crab bisque...yummy!

We planned on going to Myrtle Beach on Saturday. We had a great 2 hour flight into the Conway airport, then anything that could go wrong did. The airport folks did not have southern hospitality, we could not find a rental car... anyplace... and the cab fee was CRAZY (like $40 for 8 miles, no traffic!). The airport locked the gates at 5pm and at that time we would not have been able to get back to the plane (that may be illegal due to federal aviation rules - Steve is looking into that). So we thought we might as well come home. The headwinds were very strong so it was going to take us over 3.5 hours to return home. We had not had lunch/dinner and needed fuel, so we stopped in Anderson, SC. A very nice little town, great airport and friendly people everywhere!

One of the many sectionals I keep in my lap.
We have a GPS why do I have to know where we are at? I had a book that needed to be read....

Anderson, SC
We stopped here on the return flight for gas, got the courtesy car,
went into town and ate at "The Clock."

Take off out of Habersham International was just lovely!
We were in flight to Conway airport, Myrtle Beach.
ETA ~ 2 hours

No I was not scared in this picture like mom thought
... I was just singing... well that is kinda scary itself!

It was not been the greatest spring break, but it has been fun, but next year there will be no college and I am planning an adventure for spring break 2010! Anyone else up for the adventure?
