Sunday = Fishday!

Steve is co-owners in a new flyfish guiding business, Tritt's Outfitters. The web site is www.flyfishnga.com. The web site is a work in progress and not yet complete. This has been a business that has been several years in the making. He is currently guiding on the Chestatee River for some amazing trout. Steve guided me today (although I must say I am pretty good!).

Christmas 2009 - decorations

I finally got everything decorated. I knew it was going to be a big task, but I wanted to put the decorations up early so we could enjoy them the entire season.

Putting up the outside light included cleaning the gutters as well, no fun!

The Dept. 56 tree in the bathroom

Our bedroom tree

The mantel, I think I need another stocking

The skinny living room tree.
It has all the ornaments I got/made growing up on it.

We put our big tree in the kitchen. It seems kinda crazy, but that is the place we are always at. The year we put it in the living room we never enjoyed it.

The great tree - pre decoration!

Our pampered children even get their room (basement) decorated.

Stockings were hung all over with care.

Macys Great Tree Lightening 2009

We made our annual trip to the lightening of the tree.
This event is always a great way to begin the holiday season.
Yes, it was a wee bit chilly!

The fireworks display is absolutely amazing!

Thanksgiving 2009

Thanksgiving is always one of my favorite holidays. My parents host Thanksgiving lunch for both of their families and friends at the barn. This year we had 35 people eat lunch. There was 2 turkeys, a ham, lots of yummy veggies and great sweets.

On Wednesday we had Thanksgiving lunch with Steve's family. We had such a great time with them, we forgot to take pictures.

Mid-November!

Savannah had her first ever trip to the groomers. She is jumping around like a little puppy!

She is posing to be the Great Sphinx.

I attempted to wrap some gifts. Fishy thought she would help, but soon got bored and fell asleep.

I cleaned underneath the bed (only to discover enough dog hair for a new dog and six tennis balls) and changed quilts. Steve's mom made this one for us as a wedding gift.

View from the roof top as I cleaned the gutters and hung lighcicles.

We drove up to the Highland area for the day.

Gosh I am loving the amazingly warm fall weather, well when it is not raining!
