Steve and I just returned from another wonderful week long trip to the Fl Keys. This is our second annual trip with a wonderful group of friends. We spend the first part of the week relaxing, fishing, touring the lower keys and wishing it would not rain. 48 intense hours on Wednesday and Thursday were spend lobstering, during the mini season. Steve and I did slack on the night trips this year. Well I really slacked and Steve went one night and got caught in a crazy rain/thunder/lightening storm.
The following pictures are in random order. Feel free to post comments if you have questions about the pictures. ~ Kelly & Steve

measuring the lobster
The body must be 3 inches in order to keep.
It can not have eggs attached and you can keep 6 per day per person during mini season (aka sports season).

I love to snorkel!

We had an awesome trip and can not wait until next year. Well back to reality! Today is a teacher furlough day, tomorrow is the first day of pre-planning and the kiddo's come back on Friday.
Although Summer 2009 was short (due to Piedmont classes) it was wonderful!
