Saturday

Today was spent cleaning up and packing. I am leaving tomorrow to go on the 8th grade field trip to Jekyll. We are staying at the 4-H center and will be doing lots of coastal outdoors stuff. We made a short trip to Pet Smart. Little Fishy weighted 11 pounds today. She has gained 2 pounds since Sunday night.

The end of my first week

I have had a really fun week with my new parents. Wednesday was the coolest. I had my first trip to the greatest place on earth - Frogtown. It was really neat. I got to meet my Nana. She will have fun keeping me when I get to be a big girl. These pictures are from Thursday. I got to play with Tut and Savannah, see Grand Babara and Grand Diddy Bryant, and to back to Frogtown to see Grand Ma and Pappa White. Today, Friday, I got to go with mommy and daddy to Gainesville. They took me in PetSmart again.

The 2nd day home

Little Fishy had another great night. She went to bed about 8:30 and slept until 4:30 when she had to go out. Steve brought her to school for a short time today. She had lots of fun with all the new smells and people. Then she, Mary and I went for a long walk around Camp Glisson. She was a real trooper, she walked for most of the 4 miles. She is really sleepy now but I am keeping her up until about 9. I think that will be a great new bedtime for her.

The following is from Catfish

This is what I do when I am really, really sleepy - I get inside my kennel. If it is late evening, Mommy will not let me sleep. She wants me awake so I will sleep all night.

Catfish

She is doing great. She whines almost everytime that she needs to go outside. Last night she slept great. We put her to bed with us about 9 and she did not get up until 5. She was so cute. All day today (my maternity day off work aka personal day) she has been fighting sleep. Finally she is asleep in her kennel now. All of the other dogs get along well with her. Savannah likes to play with her, and Tut is a bit scared of her, but very curious. I hope to have another great night today, because tomorrow I have to start my normal routine of going to the gym and work.

I am HERE!

Hey it’s me Catfish. I am at home with my new mommy and daddy. I had a fun weekend, but I had to say good bye to my awesome mid-wifes (parents). They are really cool, but Jim is so silly. He is always playing tricks on people. On Friday night me and my sissy (Arkansas) got to sleep with my new mommy. Arkansas is my twin that spend the weekend with me. She came to Dahlonega then her new daddy took her to Nashville, where he is in school, and then her new great-grand parents are taking her to Arkansas. Well Arkansas is not her real name, but we had to call her something.
On Saturday morning we went on a really cold fishing trip. Lynn tried to tell Jim it was too cold for us little ones, but we went anyways and had lot of fun. We got to play on the boat when we Jim and Steve stopped to fish. Jim caught a really big fish, but my new daddy didn’t get and keepers, but me! We came home and Mommy and Daddy gave me my purple collar. It was a little big. We all played in and around the camper. Neither one of us puppies pottyed in the camper all day. We went outside every time. Yeah us! They all left us when they went to eat, but played with us a bunch when they got back. Saturday night we slept in our crate. We only had to wake mommy up one time to take us out. Daddy was to lazy to get up. Sunday morning we got up really early, as always. Jim and Daddy went fishing again. They brought back lots of big fish. We stayed with Mommy and Lynn and played, and played then packed the car to go to our new homes. Everybody went to breakfast, then we left for GA. It was really sad to say goodbye to Jim and Lynn. I think we will fish with them again later. I can not wait to show them how big I will be then. On the ride home we were really good. We whined every time we needed to go out.

Schools out for students

Due to the ice students were out of school today. Teachers had to report at 9. My Trailblazer was not in the garage, because the boat and kayak's are in there.

How Does This Work...

Hey it is me Savannah!

I am not sure if I am allowed on the computer, but maybe mommy and daddy won't catch me (if Tut does not tell on me..I think he is a big tattle tale). Let me tell you a bit about my recent life. Well everything in the house if about Catfish. I am not sure if I really want a little sister. I hope she is not whinny and does not take my toys. Mommy and daddy have bought her many new things.



This is her fishing pole and fish chew toy. Are they really so stupid as to think that she will fish. Humans are so crazy!




This is my picture of Tut. All he likes to do is eat and sleep and sometimes he even snores. Boys are so sick-o, at least Catfish is a girl not a boy. Tut is not sure about a little sis either. He said he really liked it when he was an only child. I guess he knows how I feel.




Want to talk about disgusting puppy stuff. Our friends Mary and Brandon even gave mommy a baby present for Catfish. It think those toys are cool. I am going to get them when no one is looking! You just watch me.



Oh and I even forgot the worst part. Mommy shaved me this weekend. I know that Daddy had told her she could but I never thought it would happen, and Tut even laughed at me (stupid big dog). At least daddy did not like it that mommy cut the hair around my ears, bet she will never do that again.


Although Tut and Crates do make fun of me, I do like having all of my hair gone. I am not hot anymore (it might snow tonight) and I do feel like a puppy myself. See they have me and do not need another puppy.



This is more stuff they have for Catfish, Lil' Fishy as they call her. I can not believe that mommy and gran baba make her blankets and a pillow with her name on it. And she even gets the big toy box and we have to keep the old small one.


Just to tell you how crazy my parents are...they have been going to kayak classes on Tuesday nights. I know they are in an indoor pool, but it freezing outside, unless you have on a fur coat like me.

Well I think it is almost bed time. Maybe mommy will come and let me go potty. I gotta go really bad. I will turn off the computer then I am going to start barking.

Busy, Busy, Busy

Sorry it has taken so long to get most of the photos up. I have returned to school for the beginning of the second semester. It is hard to believe that we are half way through the school year. This weekend Steve and Dad worked on Steve's office at the mini storages, and I helped my sister get stuff together for her wedding.

It is official that we will have our new child in less than 2 weeks. We will drive to FL and pick her up. I am taking on day maternity (personal day) leave and then hope to take her to school for the rest of the week, so we can have more bonding time. Steve and I went shopping for her purple color, leash, waterbottle and toys. Steve's mom and I are going to make her a blanket later in the week.

FL Road Trip (days 1-3)

Day 1
12-25-06
We left home around 12:30 and began to drive south. We made it to the Orlando area before we crashed around 9. We stayed at a filthy Days Inn.

Day 2
12-26-06
We left the Orlando area about 7am heading south for the keys. We stopped near the West Palm area to see catfish and her family. She is such a cute and a fat little puppy. We were both very excited to see our first orange orchard. We stopped at "Robbies" on one of the islands to feed the tarpon and see the birds on We met up with Lynn, the teacher that works across the hall from me and stayed with her on torque Island (mm28). We had fun with her family. We fished off the pier at the back of their house. We caught about a 2 foot bonnet shark and several little fish.








Day 3
12-27-06
We spent the day in Key West with Lynn's kids, RaeLynn and Cameron. We had a blast, plus it was great to have someone to take pictures of Steve and I. We saw the Southern most tip of the US, Mallory Square and all the "famous" places in the middle. We had lunch at Hogs Breath. Steve and I both had a great fish sandwich. We also had a chocolate covered keylime pie on a stick that was really yummy as well!
On the way back we saw several aguana, a small heard of key deer and an alligator. We went to a local restaurant for dinner and we were so tired we crashed by 9.
