On Sunday the snow continued. There was not much in Frogtown or Murrayville,

so we went north again.

We thought about going skiing in Maggie Valley, but did not leave in enough time to make it up there due to road conditions. We had breakfast at Ma Gooches, a great southern breakfast, but not as good as the Wagon Wheel in Dahlonega. The then headed toward Suches, a small town in Union County. We went towards Wolf Pen Gap then took a Forest Service road over Duncan Ridge to end up at Coopers Creek. The road had only been traveled by a few people that day and we only met 5 or 6 cars on the 15 mile road. I think we created a new Olympic sport along the way – “Jeep Sledding”.
