March 2012

March
March was one of the hardest months Steve and I have dealt with as a couple. We both spend lots of precious time with Steve's dad as he got sicker and sicker. Steve spent time during the day and I went to visit after school. I know Dean was so happy to see all those that he loved when he entered heavens gates, but it has been so hard on us here on earth.  I have a previous post on Dean, but details are still too hard to express.  I can still hear him now saying I am his "F-a-vorite daughter-in-law"! That makes my heart smile.

Steve and I had a house guest for a few nights. His little sister Lacy, stayed with us. She is such a spoilt little brat. She would stay on the bed all day and night running Fish off the bed by growling at her.

Heaven must be the beginning of the Chestatee River.
The River has so many special meaning for Steve and I both individually and together.

Dean was buried on the day the dogwoods bloomed.
How fitting for someone who served his entire life for Christ.
What a special connection we will always have to the dogwoods.

Little baby Landon was born on March 22, 2012.

Tut always barks when there is something that he does not like.

Barn Kitty!

Barn Kitty!

Beautiful pink dogwoods.

Steve decided to work on the boat.

My "thornless roses" bloomed at Papa's.

My love, Tut!
