On Sunday, Ted made Steve a birthday dinner with our new favorite fish yellowfin tuna. Ted had caught the tuna himself (with the environmentally friendly hook and line) in Gulf Shores on Saturday. I made my best ever key lime pie, but I forgot to take a photograph.

When he was still cooking we just at the fish with soy sauce.

I will certainly have the best lunch in class today.
I hope my lunch box does not get stolen.
(Like Teds car was almost stolen in AL.
Worse than the car would have been our dinner, and several other fish, that were inside.)

Our second plate of sushi.
Wow the best ever...

My dinner yellowfin with shrimp in a butter sauce, eggplant and garden salad.

Our apps - craw fish and shrimp fondue and lobster bisque ( a MUST have).

For his birthday I got Steve a subscription to Grays Sporting Journal and the dogs got him a UGA hitch cover.

I wish I could catch my own yellowfin tuna! I love the stuff, but it's in such short supply and so poorly caught that I feel bad buying it, so I stopped. But man! If I could catch my own! Here's another way to cook it: marinate the hell out of it in soy sauce, worcestershire, a pinch of ginger, brown sugar, and a little really good balsamic vinegar for 24 hours. Cover it lightly in Quebec steak seasoning. Turn your pan up on super high heat and sear it well on both sides, leaving it pink in the middle. Yum!
