A crazy weekend Gulf of Mexico trip!

I give...

(also this is not a link and i don't know why it is in blue...

Fishy stayed with her father and was very happy to see us.

On the way home, I was sooooo tired that I let Steve drive.  When I finally got awake, Steve and I had many sing-a-longs.  The really cool thing about driving 65 mph on the interstate topless is that you can sing as loud as you want and no  one will hear you to make fun of you.
I spent lots of time looking up at the many clouds.
Look Steve finally gets to drive.

I could not resist trying L.A. Caviar as part of my lunch.  I was not really crazy about it.

Steve enjoying our steamed Alabama shrimp for lunch at Lulu's.
A really large boat passed by us on the Intracoastal waterway.
A view of Lulu's from the Intracoastal bridge

We ate lunch at AJ's in Destin on Saturday.  I had a shrimp po-boy.
Steve had a fish sandwich with bacon.
We ate outside, overlooking the many marina's.

Steve was very happy to have yet another yummy meal!
On Friday we drove through Destine.  Steve wanted to stop by the Orvis store, so we had to wait until it opened.
Steve "really" had to go...
I was playing with the camera creating self-portraits...

This has been one of Steve's favorite resturants for many years.  All the seafood is really good and fresh.  They specialize in oysters.  Steve believes they are some of the best and and cheapest around.  I think a dozen raw was $4.
The "poor womans" oyster.  I only eat the crackers with horseradish!
Oysters at Hunts.

Lulu's resturant in Homeport, AL.  She even has an awesome "love fund."  She has a "Fresh Art Market" every Sunday.  The artwork is from regional artist, and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Art Education in the local public schools.  Why can't she be in Dahlonega????

While we were there on Friday night, we heard a really cool cajun family band L'Angelus.

The Jack Edwards airport is within walking distance of Lulu's. Steve and I hope to fly there when he get his license and a plane.

On Saturday night we at at the Original Oyster House in Mobile, Al.  It was just a random stop.  I was getting hungry, tired to driving and the place just looked cool.
