I was sick on Friday got better, then worse... well you know how the story goes. By Monday night I could barely talk, had a runny nose and a huge headache. Tuesday I had lesson plans that required limited talking so I was ok, but had almost no voice. Today I just could not see myself whispering all day at rowdy kids, so I stayed home to rest or so I thought. I did lots of school work and Piedmont home work and dealt with Savannah at the vets.
Steve brought me home a sweet potato biscuit made by JD Carter.
These are so good they must be sinful!
Tut was ultimately lazy.
He pulled his bed into the yard/driveway to lay in the sun.
Savannah was the big ordeal of the day. Her eye was swollen shut again this morning. Steve took her to the vet Monday for the same problem, and they were unsure if it was caused by the scratch on her face or a tooth problem. They send her home with meds and she seemed much better yesterday. This morning was another story. I took her in and they wanted to x-ray her teeth. She had a broken molar on the side of her face that was swollen and nasty looking roots on a molar on the other side of her mouth. So lots of $$ later we have 2 molars in a plastic container on the counter (no I don't know what I am gonna do with them) and a slightly lethargic yet happy dog. On a better know they said she had some of the cleanest teeth of any dogs they see!
She was much happier when she got home and was in Fishy's bed!

Fishy watching Tut lay in his mattress I put outside for him. So spoiled.
Mom came over to bring some sewing stuff and Snuffy came with her.
Fishy and Snuffy loved to play.
