Saturday

WE LOVE THE FALL.
Northeast GA is such a great place to live in the fall.

Yesterday was such a beautiful fall day. It was like one of those picture perfect days. I would even go so far as to say this is the best weekend of the year with the great weather and the leaves almost at peak. Saturday morning we went to the moonshine festival in Dawsonville. Fishy went with us, this was her second festival in two weeks and she was really tired when we got home. We got instructions on how to make moonshine by Dwight in his replica of a still.

The set up

More instructions, I hope Steve is listening.

And finally the moonshine is done and we have the car to "run the shine" with.
Fishy was totally exhausted after the Moonshine Festival.
She went sound asleep on the way home.

After the festival we attended a Fall Festival at a friends house. We had so much fun and ate so much , I did not even have time to take pictures. We listened to the GA vs FL game from my car while shooting skits for hours. They had an incredible set up. We then move to the barn, and I use that term loosely, because it was truly nice enough to live in. We were told we were going to have a low country boil, which both of us were very excited about. Then we saw all the great food and it beat any expection that we ever had. We have both agreed it was the best and nicest mean we have ever had. They had the largest King Crab legs ever (about a pound each), huge shrimp (both wild caught and flown in from Alaska yesterday) , steaks, grilled corn, potatoes, in addition to wonderful appetizers and amazing desserts. We were so stuffed, so much for any form of a diet this weekend. We hung out for a camp fire that was complete with singing.

This was kinda like tailgating....
GA beat FL... finally!

Steve skit shooting. What an incredible view. I shot several times and finally hit one, but my shoulder is slightly sore this morning for some reason.

Today we are off to Frogtown to play!
Yikes - I have school work and laundry to do...guess that will have to wait!
