After returning from the Ga coast early Monday morning, I have spent the week cleaning tile floors and the carpet. Yesterday was the GA primary election, and as always Steve (and I) attend the courthouse events after the polls closed. We watched as all the votes were tallied and counted (via a computer). We also spoke with many other Dahlonega folks doing the same thing. The most interesting part for me as the "pants cutting." It is a tradition that the person that wins their position goes on the courthouse steps to have their pants cut off into shorts.
Yesterday I also recieved the wedding pictures. They are all really great (all 1300 of them). I have spend much time in the past 24 hours organizing and deleting. I hope to have some posted on the blog by the first of next week, but other should be on Pictage soon (see first link to right).
