Easter

So much for new white sandals for Easter, I got new Muck Boots!

I did not like the camo pattern, so I tried to cover it up with a black sharpie!

Kites in Frogtown

We went to Frogtown to change oil in the Trailblazer.  I thought it would be a perfect evening to fly kites. So we played...

Turn your head to enjoy Steve flying a kite.
Although it was windy, it was not the best of weather to fly kites in. We both gave up quickly. Daddy thought it was a perfect evening to play in the garden, though.

We are not making use of the camera on Steve's cell phone, so the pictures may not be the best of quality, but they capture the moment.

Happy Spring!

Yes, You can easily balance an egg on the first day of spring.  Steve has prove.

Also I am playing with a new web site that will allow me to post to the blog via the cell phone.  So if you find some really weird post in the next few days, please over look them.

Snuffy likes to surf the internet with me

and now we are cool...

We thought we were advanced with our technology, but we had never really text messaged.  Steve got several messages earlier this week and began to enjoy it.  So I looked to upgrade our cell package and found a new Nextel plan.  We now have unlimited everything.  So we have been texting, playing with the GPS features, surfing the net, oh yeah we can also talk on the phone to.  I guess we were just a few years behind...

We have also been planning our fishing trip for Spring Break.  We are going back to Steinhatchee with the boat to fish the flats.

Deana's wedding shower

Deana and Thomas

Happy sisters!

Lacey being her normal self...
Nana, me and Nanny
Momma, Nanny and Judy

Feb.-March

Starry Night, Chuck Close style.
My 7th graders completed a section of the Starry Night and then we put it together.  No a great job, but an interesting experience for them.

Steve has spend a bit of time working on the potters wheel. He is not to bad, but should still keep his day job.

My Valentines card.  How sweet.  It must be Steve and Fish on the front.
This year I got a thorny tulip bush (some would call it a rose bush, but not Steve).  I think it is dead because I left it at school over a long weekend and the heat was turned off, so not picture.  Although it was really pretty when I got it.
Fish, not her most photographic side.
Fishy and her Daddy both begging for food.
