Nana's 80th birthday

Today is my Nana's 80th birthday. Nana is my great aunt, my dad's, fathers, sister. She has always lived just up the hill from me in Frogtown, and is actually just like a grandmother to me. Steve and I took her to Longhorns for dinner. She has never been there before and I think she had a good time. Nana is also Tut's "nanny." He usually stays with her once a week, or so.

Today was such a pretty day. The flowers are beginning to bloom and the trees and bushes are beginning to sprout. We went early this morning to PetSmart. Fishy weighs 26.6 pounds now. Then we went down to Harrys - Whole Foods, in Roswell. We were home just after lunch and the entire family played outside.

Fishy wants Tut to play with her, but he really likes being an only child.






Fishy is really tired after a long day of playing. She really wants to go to sleep, but we are keeping her awake until bedtime.

This Week With Us

Fishy will now sit and wait for her command before she eats. I has still not gotten around to painting her fish feeder. Steve said she told him, that she really wished it was finished soon.



We can not believe how big she is getting. I know she must be close to 30 pounds.



And of course my new shoes. I have been wanted these Vibram Five Fingers for a few months now, and we found them instock at the place we bought our kayaks. I am not sure where or with what I will wear them with...maybe I will wear them to work with slacks or a skirt...or maybe I should just wear them in the boats!

She is getting bigger

FIshy is growing each day. Not only in weight, but she is maturing. She is sitting, fetching and staying really well. Steve love to play fetch the bumper with her (what they don't know is, she will NEVER get the chance to fetch a bird). She is sleeping well and only getting up a few times during the night. She is also becoming more loving, and desiring less to bite. She got a new larger kennel this morning. She is just too big for her baby kennel.


I put Crates bell on her so we could easily find her in the house. It was driving Steve and Fishy crazy so I took it off.
